UU Principles
As Unitarian Universalists we share a value system which is expressed by a set of principles and purposes accepted by the Unitarian Universalist Association of Congregations.

The UU Principles are presented here in three versions to reflect the different stages of faith development and understanding:  adult, child, preschooler.

We, the member congregations of the Unitarian Universalist Association, covenant to affirm and promote:
1. The inherent worth and dignity of every person.  We believe that each and every person is important. Everyone is special.
2. Justice, equity and compassion in human relations; We believe that all all people should be treated fairly We are fair and kind to others.
3. Acceptance of one another and encouragement to spiritual growth in our congregations; We believe that our churches are places where all people are accepted and where we keep on learning together. Church is a place where we learn together.
4. A free and responsible search for truth and meaning.  We believe that each person must be free to search for what is true and right in life. We are always learning for ourselves.
5. The rights of conscience and the use of the democratic process within our congregations and in society at large; We believe that everyone should have a vote about things that concern them. W have a say about things important to us.
6. The goal of world community with peace, liberty and justice for all; We believe in working for a peaceful, fair, and free world. We help make the world better for everyone.
7. Respect for the interdependent web of all existence of which we are a part. We believe in caring for our planed Earth of which we are a part. We help take care of our world.
